Searching within a document
You can search the currently loaded document without leaving VisualVault.
Click the sidebar icon at the left of the toolbar to open the side panel.
Select one of the three icons at the top of the panel: the page thumbnail icon, the signature icon, or the search icon (magnifying glass).
To search the document, select the search icon, then enter your search term in the search field.
Press Enter or click the search icon to run the search.
After you run a search, the panel displays the number of results found, with left and right arrows to move between them. Results are grouped by page number, and each result shows a text snippet with your search term highlighted.
Click a result in the panel to jump to that location in the document.

🔍 Troubleshooting Note: If you can't find the search panel, click the panel toggle icon at the left of the toolbar to expand it, then select the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top of the panel.
Adjusting layout and zoom
Click the sidebar icon on the far left of the toolbar to show or hide the side panel.
Click the zoom options icon (for example, 100%) to open the dropdown menu.
Select Fit To Width to scale the page so it matches the width of the viewer window.
Select Fit To Page to display the entire page within the viewer window.
Select a preset value from the list (10% through 6400%) to zoom to that exact level.
Click Quick Zoom In, then pan around the page.
Use the - and + icons next to the zoom field to decrease or increase zoom in smaller increments.

🔍 Troubleshooting Note: If the zoom level resets unexpectedly when navigating between pages, the document may have mixed page sizes or the viewer may be set to auto-fit on page change. If Marquee Zoom stays active after drawing a selection, click the Select tool (the dashed-box icon in the toolbar) to return to normal cursor behavior.
Inserting pages
Click the Thumbnail view icon in the left panel to display page thumbnails.
Click more options (⋯).
Click Insert.
In the Insert New Page dialog, select Blank or Upload depending on whether you want to add an empty page or insert a page from a file.
Under Page Placement, choose Above Page or Below Page to set where the new page goes relative to the page you specify.
Under Page Location, enter the page number in the Specify Page field. The dialog shows the document's total page count next to this field for reference.
In the Number Of Pages field, enter how many pages to insert.
If you selected Blank, choose a page size from the Presets dropdown under Page Dimensions (for example, Letter).
Click Add Page(s) to insert the new page and close the dialog.

🔍 Troubleshooting Note: If Add Page(s) doesn't respond, check that the Specify Page value doesn't exceed the document's total page count. The field won't accept a page number that doesn't exist yet.
Extracting pages
Click the Thumbnail view icon in the left panel to display page thumbnails.
Click more options (⋯).
Click Extract.
Click Extract and Delete or Extract.
The extracted page(s) will be downloaded to your local device.

Locate the page you want to move.
Click and drag the thumbnail to its new position in the page order, then release to drop it into place. The panel renumbers all pages to reflect the new order.
Alternatively, click more options (⋯) on the thumbnail and select Move to Top or Move to Bottom to reposition the page without drag and drop.
