The Workspaces feature allows administrators to build web pages with tabs that contain one or more widgets and share these Workspaces with one or more groups of users.
Create a New Workspace
To create a new Workspace, complete the following steps:
- In the Admin Tools tab of the Control Panel, open Workspace Manager.
- Click the Create New Workspace button.
- Configure the Workspace:
- The Workspace tab designer screen will be displayed for your new workspace. Click the Add Widget Container button, then click the Add Row button.
- Configure the Workspace layout. Choose a row layout and click the Add Row button.
- Click the Add Widget button to add a widget to the newly created row.
- Select a widget, and click the Next button to display the widget editor.
- Click the Tab Settings button if you want to rename the tab that will be displayed on the Workspace screen. Change the Tab Name, then optionally assign which groups will be allowed to see this tab.
Workspace Widgets
Use the Add Widget pane to add widgets to the Workspace. Click Save and Preview to see the widget on the Workspace.
Form List
The Form List widget's purpose is to show an "at-a-glance" view of a selected form list.
Configure the Form List title, Form List, Library Properties, Criteria, Common Tokens, and Query Filter Text (if applicable) as desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

HTML Editor
The HTML Editor widget allows HTML content to be added, or edited easily using an editor and display it in the Workspace.
Configure the Widget title and select Hide Title option if you prefer to save space on the screen (the Title field may not be necessary when displaying a single widget on a Workspace tab. Next, enter some HTML content you wish to display on the screen. Click the "</>" toolbar icon if you prefer to work in the HTML code editor view. Any valid HTML markup, including images, JavaScript and inline CSS style tags, is supported.
When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Page viewer
The Page Viewer widget allows a preview of an embedded webpage to be viewed from the Workspace.
Configure the Page Viewer title and select Hide Title option if you prefer to save space on the screen. Next, enter the Content URL you desire. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Heading
The Heading widget allows the user to add heading text to the Workspace.
Configure the Heading Text and the Heading Size. View the preview. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Text
The Text widget is a free-text field that allows you to add text to the Workspace.
Configure the Text to show, Font Size, Font Weight, and Font Style (if applicable) as desired. View the preview. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Image
The Image widget allows the user to add an image to the Workspace.
Configure the Image URL, Image Size, and Alignment (if applicable) as desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Button
The Button widget is used to open a link either in the same window or a new window/tab.
Configure the Button label text, Button link, Variant, Size, Style, Has Icon?, Icon, and Width fields (if applicable) as desired. Select Open in new window/tab option if desired.

Document List
The purpose of the Document List widget is to show an "at-a-glance" view of the Document Library.
Configure the Document List Tile and Document List Source fields (if applicable) as desired. Select Hide Title option if desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Analytics Dashboard
The purpose of the Analytics Dashboard widget is to show an "at-a-glance" view of an Analytics Dashboard.
Configure the Analytics Dashboard title, Select Dashboard, Query Filter Text, and Height fields (if applicable) as desired. Select Hide Title option if desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Report Viewer
The purpose of the Report Viewer widget is to show an "at-a-glance" view of a selected Report.
Configure the Report Viewer title, Select Report, Query Filter Text, and Height fields (if applicable) as desired. Select Hide Title option if desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

User Task
The purpose of the User Task widget is to show an "at-a-glance" view of the tasks and approval tasks.
Configure the User Tasks title field (if applicable) as desired. Select Hide Title option if desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Calendar
The Calendar widget creates a mini-grid calendar to display a snapshot of events on your Workspace.
Configure the Calendar title field (if applicable) as desired. Select Hide Title option if desired. When finished, use the Add Widget button to save.

Save and Preview
After adding all the widgets desired to the Workspace, click the Save button for the Workspace. Then, click the Preview button to preview how the Workspace will display to users.
