Yes. VisualVault is committed to making our products and services more accessible to all users. We're always looking to improve, and this work is ongoing. We're in the process of reviewing our services to improve user experience and to make it easier for our customers to make their sites accessible.

What level of accessibility compliance does VisualVault adhere to?

The VisualVault core product is compliant with WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) Standard for accessible design.

How do I know if my website is accessible?

While there is no such thing as 100% accessibility, and no universal governing metric applies, there are ways to assess and improve your site so that it can be generally accessible to a broad audience. If you need help with assessing your site, we suggest contacting an experienced practitioner (English only) for help.

Does my site need to be ADA compliant?

Laws around web accessibility vary greatly depending on the country, state, or regional jurisdiction you fall under. VisualVault doesn't provide legal advice on any topic, including accessibility compliance. To learn more, a helpful first step may be to review an overview of the laws and policies in your region. If you’re unsure of how these policies apply to you, we encourage you to consult an accessibility consultant or legal expert.

Who is responsible for my website accessibility?

Are all sites built with VisualVault accessible?

Because VisualVault users have a lot of creative freedom, they can build websites that aren't always accessible by all. We believe that accessibility is always a work in progress, and we encourage everyone to strive toward creating designs with accessibility in mind.

How do I make a VisualVault site ADA compliant?

There are several tools you can use to test your site. We recommend a mixed approach of automated and manual testing, with tools including but not limited to:
